College/Career Access Institute for Students with Learning Disabilities and other Disabilities - July 11 - July 15

Advancing Opportunities’ (AO) College/Career Access Institute will deliver education and training to students with learning disabilities, and other disabilities, for accessing and succeeding in postsecondary careers and college opportunities at Middlesex County College this summer from July 11th-15th.

The goal of the Institute is to empower, educate, and engage secondary school students in achieving their academic and career goals.  The program approach is that of high expectations for every student, and delivers a personalized learning environment, opportunities for students to make academic and real-world connections, and gives students a view of wonderful post-secondary experiences.  The 5-day Institute encourages students with disabilities to keep on track in school with a focus on the future and an understanding of high quality support for accomplishing their goals. The Institute incorporates the attributes of one- to-one college coaching and the natural support of the cohort experience http://www.cpofnj.org/college_coaching.
